This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for NABPOP - National Association of BPO Professionals. This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by this web site. It will notify you of the following:

      • What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the web site, how it is used and with whom it may be shared.

      • What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.

      • The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.

      • How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

 

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
NABPOP is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. NABPOP only has access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. NABPOP will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

 

NABPOP will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. NABPOP will not share your information with any third party outside of NABPOP e.g. advertisers or spammers.

 

As an added benefit to NABPOP members, NABPOP markets and promotes the members of NABPOP. NABPOP reserves the right to distribute NABPOP member contact information (garnered from NABPOP member profile) to BPO Companies, REO companies, banks, lenders, asset managers etc... with the sole intent to provide NABPOP members with BPO and REO related jobs and/or work. NABPOP Members can opt out of this distribution through their member profile. This only pertains to NABPOP members.

 

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.


Security
NABPOP takes precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information such as credit card information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline by SSL secure encrypted pages (designated by a pad lock at the bottom of your web browser).

 

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page.

 

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

 

 
 

Monthly Membership Refund

Within 2 weeks of sign up, member must contact support@nabpop.org in writing and request membership cancellation as well as a refund of the initial sign up. If a refund is requested within 2 weeks, 40% of the initial sign up fee will be refunded minus any membership inclusive certification tests taken at $5.00 per test (not including additional certification tests taken which may have been purchased). After 2 weeks of sign up, member must contact support@nabpop.org and request a membership cancellation. The member will be removed from the automatic billing cycle. Monthly dues are non-refundable.
